NINALEUCA'S STORY
The brand Ninaleuca comes from two words: Nina, the designer, and Leuca the place where all began. Nina is the nickname of the designer given by her mother, a former knitwear designer in whose laboratory Nina began to express her creativity. Then Leuca is the southern cape of Salento where the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet in this border land. A magical land that urges us to imagine wide spaces of possibilities. Nina herself is not comfortable within boundaries and sees slowness as a method to better focus the inner energy and to imagine other paths, other trajectories. NINALEUCA pays homage to the Salento land and his own cultural heritage, artisanal tradition in a creative way. It is an innovative business model based on sustainable rhythms of work and production, supported by a short supply chain and focused on a no waste circular economy process. Slow Fashion for NINALEUCA is not an empty slogan, but the beating heart of her sustainable model.
