How to take care of our linen
Linen fabric is very durable and at Ninaleuca we use top quality but it has to be treated with care to make it last forever. Linen tends to crease if stored poorly or if not properly washed. Colored linen fabrics, may release color during washing, at Ninaleuca we give a particular soft hand feel pre-treatment, but once in your wardrobe is safer , for the first washes, to separate your garment from withe ones. Furthermore, the garment has to be washed with a detergent for delicate clothes, without bleaches, at a temperature not exceeding 40°C. To dry, you should wring it out well and if possible let it lay out in the air, avoiding the formation of creases which easily lead to wrinkling or moisture marks. Ironing also requires attention: you should gently pass the hot iron over the fabric when is still a little damp and turned inside out in order to obtain a crispy and lean effect.
How to take care of your Ninaleuca creations
Buy less, buy better is not only a slogan, because prolonging the life of your clothes has a positive impact in terms of carbon footprint , less textile production means less co2 consumption, less energy and water used. Treat your Ninaleuca creations with love: wash, iron and store them wisely and repair them if necessary. At the Atelier, we are here to support you to find the best solution ( a button? a small mending?) with a free assessment by our dressmakers.
